Congratulations to our very own Alicia Barry. Alicia has just won FIRST prize in Spellbinders largest ever competition called Craft to Win. The contest expanded over various catagories including Altered/OTP and layouts to which Alicia made it to the final 12 in the altered catagory with her STUNNING toaster....yep I did say toaster!...along with her scrapbook layout which both Alicia and another of our fabulous Design Team member Beck also made it into the final 12. This world wide competition took in over 400 entrants and was narrowed down to only 12 finalists in late December. Out of the Final 12 three were then choosen by a celebrity panel at CHA to take out first, second and third prizes. The first being a $5000 craft booty from Spellbinders and their preferred partners. WOW what an achievement Alicia!! We are very proud of you. This just proves that us Aussies really are the leaders in our industry! aussie, aussie, aussie. ... ... ...!!!!
For DownUnder Direct to have two of their designers make it into the top12 is such an amazing achievment. Well done ladies!! I know when I choose my designers each year I look for something special and we certainly have that in everyone of our DT ladies..We like to sell the cream of the crop when it comes to products like Bazzill and Spellbinders and we certainly have all the talent and skill in our designers to show you how you can produce stunning and beautiful projects using products that are proven leaders and consist of nothing but..quality.Why not take a minute to view the wonderful work here on our blog and then pop over to their individual blogs and see just how well they design all of the products we represent here at DownUnder Direct..When your done there take a peak on our website to see all the new innovative releases from CHA Jan 2013 available soon in Australia...so once again a huge congrats Alicia for being the first prize WINNER!!
