Tutorial Tuesday-Background Technique

Welcome to Tutorial Tuesday. Today we have a tutorial from Beck demonstrating how to enhance the background on plain cardstock.



Products Used: 

Bazzill Cardstock:

 Just Rite Stamps: 
CL-03695 Elegant Fronds Background Stamp

Tim Holtz Distress Marker – Aged Mahogony

Instructions:

Step One:

Take a mask or stencil and rub over it with some distress ink onto the plain cardstock 


Step Two:

Remove the mask or stencil to reveal the pattern added to the cardstock


Step Three:

Take your Just Rite stamp and add some ink to it in a circular motion, cleaning any of the sharp edges with a baby wipe



Step Four:

Randomly stamp the background with the stamp in a slightly darker colour to the masked pattern
