I'm loving the easel card at the moment. The little bit of extra work you
put into a card really pays off. I assembled this one in a similar fashion
to the butterfly easel card I showed in a post a few weeks ago.

Here's a layout using some of the new d'lite blooms. The flowers are super easy to make, just keep adding more and more layers until you have a nice full blossom. I have used two of the new blloms along with my old faithful spiral blossom roses.

Sometimes it's a little disappointing when a die doesn't cut all the way
through a material. Other times it can work to your advantage. Take this
corrugated cardboard - the circle die didn't cut all the way through, but it
cut through enough to enable me to easily remove a layer to expose the
corrugations. Perfect!

The latest release Spellbinders dies really compliment the mixed media trend in Scrapbooking at the moment with new on trend patterns and designs. Beck has really gotten down and dirty with this one using cardstock with her own input of pattern texture and colour.
