"I need several stylish, handmade Christmas gifts this year, and knowing me they'll be left until the last minute so they need to be quick and easy. And cheap (because let's face it - who's cashed up at that time of year anyway?. I think this one ticks all the boxes! This is a wicker tree I found at a florist supply place. It was already painted white, so all it needed was some colourful embellishment."

Here's how I prepared the stars:
Step One:
Cut some stars with the Grand Calibur and Spellbinder dies.
Step Two:
Using a stylus, score a line from the tip of a point of the star to the 'v'on the other side.
Step Three:
Repeat for all five points. All of the lines will intersect in the centre of the star.
Step Four:
Pinch each point so that it pokes up along the scored line creating a mountain fold. The scored line from the centre of the star to each 'v'will naturally form a valley fold.

"I found the title for this layout already printed on the paper! How often does that happen? I'm buying a lotto ticket for sure.
I have used a couple of the new D'Lites dies as little delicate accent pieces on this layout. I mounted the window with some foam mounting squares so that the word could still be read through it."
